Whenever I needed to create a new website or blog for my business I tried to use everything I learned about SEO and AdWords. And I spent hours to understand what are the best keywords which bring more traffic. And more money for my business. I tried to set up a friendship with google indexing machine. I`ve done more and more keyword research and I tried some keyword tools that I found as they were recommended by internet money makers and advertisers.

And I did this for every page I added even I did this later, after a time from the project beginning, because so many online marketers make the same mistake of doing keyword research only at the start of a project. Mistake, because people’s search behavior changes over time. Our language and our culture, they influence subconsciously on us. Although our searches follow certain patterns, we’re influenced by news stories and the latest buzz or fashion. The world of keywords emerges quickly with the new products and new fashion.

From all the tools I tried for my keyword research, I want to compare some of them with some reviews because, as a beginner, I didn`t know what is the best but each time I tried other keyword tool I was able to see the difference.

When I discovered the value and importance of a keyword for my site to be quickly indexed by Google and other search engines, I was very excited and then I realized that it is not so easy to find the proper keywords to make a site more visible and to bring money for my business. The question was HOW TO FIND PROFITABLE WORD WITHOUT SPENDING ALL MY TIME? HOW TO FIND NATURAL KEYWORDS?

First, the solution was simple to use adwords.google.com keywords tool, this was working because I had only individual webpage addresses working as a blogger in blogspot. You can type in the exact name of that page, then push the “Get keywords” button and you have all the keywords associated with that page and may be used for you need. You can use, from that list, keywords to make a new article title , change your blog post title to be sure that it can be found more easily. At this point, as a suggestion, you even can use these founded keywords as tags and labels so the people will be enabled to find your pages and your articles more easily. If finally you choose your keywords, may be a good choice to verify them by typing into google search box and look very closely at the top competitors with the same keywords. But don`t just look, take notes. You even can model their campaign to your own, but you must consider a very close look at the specific ad they are using, the specific they are promoting, the layout of their landing page that can be very important in SEO, all the marketing tactics that they are following and at last but not at least THE KEYWORDS targeting by them. Google keywords tool is the most common free tool for the research of keywords.

Of course free is always good, but typically there is a limiting factor with this type of product because your access is limited for a trial period before a monthly fee applies or thay offer only a certain group of features. Now, if you are making some money and can afford this, then this would be the right way to market. The answer may be try and buy. May be expensive if you chose the best tool, but if you need to make your business grow, it worth, you need to go deeper into your niche and beat the competition. Free keywords research tools do not give enough specific results so you can use them to successfully optimise your website or blog. Through free keyword tools, the results you receive are some how restricted to the use of them. Free keywords research tools are useful if you want to test whether or not a niche is worth the struggle.

What I try to say is that, if you have to use a free keywords research tool it does not allow you enough options to fine tune your search and is more likely that the results provided by these tools are depending on your own assumptions. In this case a better way is to start with more generic words, take notes (use an excel shet for example) and then move forward by excluding less popular or irrelevant keywords and so, may be possible to get more closer to your best keywords.

First, you will probably want to use free keywords tools but as you need to get better results for your site or blog you must consider upgrading your search. Because, if we talk about search, if you are not in the second or third page on search display, you will not bring the money you want to your business.

All the keywords tools I tried, except Google, have some in common. A free option and the upgrade option. My first try was on SEOBOOK and I was excited exploring the possibilities found here, upgrading at last, for better results. You can read my review for this. Reading about KEYWORDSPY, i was curious and I tried it too, for a long time, upgrading and the results were better. It is an easy to use tool. There is too, a review about this. The one that made me a fan and I prefered to work with, is KEYWORDCOUNTRY. My review about this is a little longer but i think it will be very useful. And with KEYWORDCOUNTRY you can checkout a handy comparison between KC and other traditional tools. When i am talking about finding the proper keywords tools I mean finding the best tool that helps you in AdSense, PPC and SEO. Because for most marketers every penny counts, researching the best keywords is necessary and will help to ensure that a profitable campaign will result.
